Quick fix: most login errors come from a typing mistake, a missing port in the server URL or an expired plan. Re-copy your details exactly, restart the app and try again before anything else.

"Authorization failed" or "Invalid login"

  • Re-type the username and password; they are case-sensitive.
  • Remove spaces copied before or after each field.
  • Check your plan has not expired and is not already in use on another screen.

"Server not found" or "Connection timed out"

  • Include the full server URL with http:// and the port number after the colon.
  • Do not paste the full M3U link into the Xtream server field.
  • Test another website on the same device to confirm the internet works.
  • Restart the router, then the TV device.

Empty playlist or missing categories

  • M3U links are long and are easily cut off when pasted; copy the whole link again.
  • Large M3U playlists can fail on older devices; use the Xtream Codes login instead.
  • Pull down to refresh, or use the app's "Reload" option, after any change to your plan.

No TV guide (EPG)

With an M3U link, the guide comes from a separate EPG link that must be added in the app's settings. With Xtream Codes it usually loads automatically; if it does not, refresh the EPG from the settings menu. M3U vs Xtream Codes explains the difference.

A channel will not play

  • Try another channel: if others work, note the channel name and time and tell support.
  • Switch the video player in the app settings.
  • If channels play but keep stopping, follow the buffering checklist.

Frequently asked questions

Why does IPTV Smarters say authorization failed?

Usually the username, password or server URL is typed incorrectly, has an extra space, or the plan has expired. Copy the details again exactly as sent and check your plan dates.

Why is my M3U playlist empty?

The link may be cut off when pasted, the app may not support very large lists, or the plan may be inactive. Try the Xtream Codes login instead or ask support for a fresh link.
